Whole Person Care Clinic and Encompass Housing Awarded $574,834.54 to Support Housing and Health in Imperial County
Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC), in collaboration with Encompass Housing, is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant of $574,834.54 from the Imperial County Department of Social Services in partnership with the Imperial Valley Continuum of Care Council (IVCCC). These funds will support their Pathways to Stable Home and Health Program, providing vital services to the most vulnerable populations in Imperial County.
Strengthening Our Commitment to Housing and Health
The awarded funds will be instrumental in supporting rapid rehousing, operating subsidies, and street outreach efforts. Through this initiative, WPCC and Encompass Housing will provide critical interventions to help individuals and families transition into permanent housing and achieve long-term stability. By focusing on wrap-around services that address both housing and healthcare needs, we ensure that those experiencing homelessness receive not only shelter but also the support necessary for sustained well-being.
About the Grant: HHAP Round 4
The Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) Round 4 funding is designed to advance regional coordination and enhance the homeless response system in the area. These funds aim to:
Transition homeless individuals and families into permanent housing;
Expand and increase services that promote housing stability;
Support innovative service delivery models that align with best practices in homelessness prevention and intervention.
By investing in solutions that prioritize prevention, diversion, and long-term housing stability, Imperial County and its partners are working to reduce (and ultimately end) homelessness and improve access to essential resources for those in need.
A Unified Effort for Lasting Impact
At WPCC, we know that real change happens through strong partnerships. By working alongside Imperial County, Encompass Housing, and other community organizations, we are expanding our reach and our ability to serve individuals experiencing homelessness.
With this funding, we will continue to provide second chances and create pathways to sustainable housing and wellness, ensuring that every person we serve has the opportunity to regain stability and rebuild their future.
