Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC) Awarded $1.9 Million Grant from PATH CITED to Expand Services for Medi-Cal Beneficiaries

Long Beach, CA – October 18, 2024 – Whole Person Care Clinic (WPCC) is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a $1,903,142.85 grant from Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) CITED. This significant funding will enhance WPCC's capacity and infrastructure, enabling the expansion of services to Medi-Cal beneficiaries across Southern California.

The PATH initiative aims to advance health equity, address social determinants of health, and create a coordinated, accessible Medi-Cal system. WPCC's mission aligns seamlessly with PATH’s objectives, as WPCC is committed to delivering holistic, compassionate, and accessible care that nurtures the physical, emotional, and social well-being of every individual it serves.

“At WPCC, we strive to provide comprehensive care through an integrated approach that combines medical expertise, mental health support, and community services,” said Nora Sarte, Interim Executive Director. “This PATH CITED grant will allow us to bridge gaps in our services and expand our reach, ensuring that more Medi-Cal beneficiaries receive the quality care they deserve.”

WPCC offers a range of programs, including Street Medicine, Recuperative Care, and Enhanced Care Management, all designed to meet the diverse needs of underserved communities.
